Matt's practice focuses on the rights of consumers and workers. Specifically, he emphasizes representation of individuals who suffer injury on their jobs, are victims of fraud, have insurmountable debt that they cannot repay, suffer from discrimination, suffer personal injury through no fault of their own, and/or who are not paid employee benefits to which they are entitled. Matt has also received several awards in the field of bankruptcy. In 2006 Matt was the lead attorney on the case Culver, et al v. Leo, et al, wherein he helped obtain a settlement of two million dollars for employees of a factory when it failed to pay health insurance premiums to cover its workers.
He and his wife, Jennifer ( J. J.), have two daughters and one son and reside in New Albany.
